In this book, we listen to Sheldon Jojo the Monkey and Dillon the Turtle talk about "That Empty Feeling". The book's purpose is to let the reader know that they are a special, unique, and loved individual; and that they are not alone in feeling this way. "That Empty Feeling" was written to help give a positive example in a conversation on talking about feeling depressed. Our goal is to help the reader to learn how to verbalize how they are feeling as opposed to showing it physically. In the book, we do not call this feeling "depression" but "That Empty Feeling" because we are not diagnosing anyone. This is simply a book to help start the conversation to help an individual feel comfortable and confident in talking about their emotions.
